Rebecca – Live Musical Event

With 120.000 ANSI lumen the team from Elements Entertainment projects the surreal dream world of Daphne du Maurier on to the facade of the baroque wing of the castle. Opulent pictures create a scenery and space for performers, presenting a little teaser of the new musical production Rebecca. The audience of Stuttgart is fascinated by the way the face of the castle is integrated into the animated pictures created by video artist Thomas Müller. The Facade turns into the farm house Manderley, becomes the boathouse of the property or the cliffs of the British cliff line. Very cleverly the director Hans-Christoph Mücke manages the changes from real scenery to unreal metaphoric pictures, keeping the harmony with the scenic presentation of the performers. Fire and fog effects underline the imaginary stage. The selected scenes and the choreography by Nicole Hildebrand represent the highlights of the Rebecca production.
