EHF Champions League Final4 in Cologne

Elements Entertainment directed and produced the EHF Champions League Final4 in the LANXESS Arena in Cologne. During the sports event with the best four handball teams of Europe, the team of Elements Entertainment was responsible for the artistic concept and technical implementation of the Show. In cooperation with Art Director Hans-Christoph Muecke the teams THW Kiel, FC Barcelona, Ciudad Real and Medvedi Moskow received an enthusiastic welcome to the Lanxess Arena. Light, fire and laser as well as athletes and artists were involved into the show; also every single match has been restaged individually. For all the world to see the new cup was created in a symbolic scene by the two metal-artists Stefan and Herbert Gahr from Austria. Before the games, the cup was lifted in the hall ceiling and disappeared, where it remained until the final – always in the eyes of the players. The award ceremony was included into the performance of the actors of “WE WILL ROCK YOU” by Hans-Christoph Muecke. To the song “We are the Champions” the cup was hovering in the Arena and given to the Champion THW Kiel. The hall was like a madhouse. 19 000 enthusiastic fans got provided to the end of the Final4-weekend another spectacularly show.
