International, challenging, enthralling – the Mediterranean Games have for years been a jour fixe in the Olympic calendar and attract thousands of spectators. For the 17th Games in Mersin, Turkey, we staged a spectacular show for the opening ceremony that mesmerized its audience from the very first second to the very last.
With video projections, music and show effects, we transformed the field of play into a magical world with a gigantic sickle moon symbolizing the host country. Under our direction, 1000 actors took the spectators through constantly changing sets representing the history of the Mediterranean and the region around Mersin.
